Technical Support Specialist

Zimpost (Pvt) Ltd, Harare. On-site. Reports to: Chief Information Officer.

Duties and responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technical problems and conduct root cause analysis.
• Provide end-user technical assistance.
• Maintain technical support tickets and resolution records.
• Resolve connectivity, software and system performance issues.
• Install, maintain and repair computer hardware and software.
• Deploy new systems and provide user training.
• Maintain IT asset registers.
• Manage software licences and service-level agreements.
• Implement routine IT maintenance schedules.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years' IT support experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
