About the Role
Hwange Colliery is seeking a By-Products Technical Foreperson for the Coke Works and Gas Plant Section.
Key performance areas
- Facilitating effective resource allocation and understanding of production goals and technical requirements.
- Upholding and enforcing technical standards and procedures; conducting periodic work reviews for compliance with production specifications and quality.
- Collaborating with diverse departments to achieve production goals; ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards.
- Preparing daily production-performance reports and monthly reports on plant availability, utilisation and major breakdowns.
- Managing waste and effluent discharged from the by-product plants.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency of the by-product plants.

Requirements
Educational and professional qualifications
- 5 O-Levels including Maths, English and Science.
- National Diploma in Mineral Processing & Extractive Metallurgy; OR City and Guilds Process Plant Operation Certificate Part II with over five years' experience.
- At least a Class 4 driver's licence.
