About the Role
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development is hiring a Deputy Registrar, Drivers Licenses.
Role overview: participate in the formulation, implementation and review of driver's-licence application and issuance policies, regulations and procedures; develop strategic plans for the Drivers Licences Section at the Central Vehicle Registry; monitor the processing of driver's-licence applications; prepare statements for law-enforcement agencies; and appear in a court of law as a state witness on driver's-licence litigation cases.

Requirements
Requirements & qualifications
- A Degree in Social Sciences/Management or equivalent (a relevant Master's degree is an added advantage).
- A minimum of six (6) years' relevant experience at the Licensing/Registration Officer grade level.
- Knowledge of the motor industry and transport rules and regulations.
- Working knowledge of contract-management processes.
- Ability to communicate and network with a broad spectrum of stakeholders; strong leadership and team-building skills.
