About the Role
The Ministry of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage is hiring a Director, Governance.
Role overview: contribute to the formulation, implementation and review of policies, strategies and frameworks for governance, heritage and social services; provide oversight on governance, heritage, social-services matters and institutional reforms in the Immigration Control Department, Zimbabwe Republic Police, Civil Registry and State Lotteries; collaborate with the National Archives of Zimbabwe and National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe; and superintend the development of budgets and funding strategies for governance, heritage and social-service programmes.

Requirements
Requirements & qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Peace Studies, Governance, Public Administration, Sociology or a related field (a Master's degree is an added advantage).
- At least eight years' experience, of which two years must be at Deputy Director level or equivalent.
- Ability to set vision and drive institutional reforms.
- Knowledge of governance systems, cultural-heritage preservation and social-service regulation.
- Expertise in drafting and implementing governance and heritage policies.
