About the Role
Location: Harare. Employment type: Full-Time. Reports to: Chief Executive Officer.
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Financial Controller to lead our finance function, overseeing financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, statutory compliance and strategic decision-making support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all accounting and financial operations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial policies.
- Coordinate external audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to management.
- Supervise and develop the finance team.
- Monitor organisational financial performance and recommend improvements.
- Oversee risk management and ensure sound financial governance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Must be a registered public accountant with qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CIS or equivalent.
- At least 5 years' progressive experience in finance, including a senior finance or financial-controller role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial-reporting standards, taxation and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
