Grade 1 Teacher

Location: Marondera, Zimbabwe. We are seeking a passionate, qualified Grade 1 Teacher to join our foundation phase team, starting Monday 14 September. Inspire, Learn, Grow.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Grade 1 learners in line with both the ZIMSEC and Cambridge curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess learners and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
• Maintain class records, attendance and learner portfolios.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities.

• Diploma/Degree in Primary Education with ECD/Infant specialisation.
• Registered with ZIMSEC/Ministry of Education.
• Minimum 2 years' teaching experience in Grade 1 or Lower Primary preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Patient, creative and child-centred approach.
• Computer literacy an advantage.
• Ability to coach at least 1 sport.
