Human Resources Officer (Contract, Harare)

Location: Harare, Zimbabwe. Department: Human Resources. Reports to: Head of Human Resources. Job type: contract.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures and programmes.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection processes.
• Maintain employee records and personnel files.
• Update employee information and process HR transactions using the Belina system.
• Assist with leave, attendance, benefits, contracts and other personnel documentation.
• Support employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances and performance management.
• Prepare HR reports, submissions and correspondence.
• Assist with training needs and provide HR support to employees and management.
• Protect the confidentiality, accuracy and integrity of HR information.

• Higher National Diploma or professional qualification in Human Resources Management.
• A degree in Human Resources Management is an advantage.
• At least three years' HR experience, preferably in the public sector.
• Practical experience using Belina Payroll is mandatory.
• Knowledge of HR policies, labour legislation and HR administration.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, integrity and attention to detail.
