About the Role
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality ICT lessons aligned with national curriculum standards and school objectives.
- Teach a broad range of ICT topics, including digital literacy, computer systems, software applications, networking and cybersecurity basics.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans, schemes of work and instructional materials to meet diverse student needs and abilities.
- Integrate practical, hands-on activities to reinforce theoretical concepts and promote problem-solving skills.
- Robotics and coding ability.
- Manage and maintain classroom technology, including computers, interactive whiteboards and educational software.
- Stay current with developments in ICT, digital tools and educational technology trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align ICT teaching with cross-curricular initiatives.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of ICT programmes.
- Support students' digital-skills development beyond the classroom through clubs, competitions or enrichment activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' relevant teaching experience.
- Diploma in Education.
- Higher National Diploma in Computer Science OR a relevant Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science.
