IT Officer, Harare Civil Magistrates' Court

Job title: IT Officer. Location: Harare Civil Magistrates' Court. Closing date: 16 October 2026.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Managing IT infrastructure, including computer systems, networks and databases.
• Coordinating the production and generation of reports from flowcharts.
• Ensuring timely backups and security of electronic data.
• Implementing and coordinating systems and procedures.
• Providing technical support and training to staff.
• Ensuring IT systems comply with data protection requirements.
• Preserving IT assets, information security and control structures.
• Performing other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or another recognised IT degree.
• At least one year of working experience within the Judicial Service Commission.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
• Experience with databases and network administration.
• Good knowledge of personnel management.
• Ability to manage and supervise IT-related operations.
• Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
