Legal Officer — Dispute Resolution (1)

About the Role
Reports to the Manager Legal Services. Supports the Commission's dispute-resolution mandate under section 297 of the Constitution and the ZLC Act.
Duties:
- Receive, assess and process land-dispute complaints; conduct legal analysis of jurisdiction and admissibility.
- Facilitate mediation, conciliation and other ADR; prepare determinations, legal opinions and case summaries.
- Research and interpret the Constitution, land laws and court decisions; support investigations; liaise with stakeholders; conduct public awareness on ADR and land rights.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws degree; registration or eligibility for registration as a Legal Practitioner an added advantage.
- Understanding of court procedures and litigation; ability to contextualise legal and governance issues within land administration; clear communication.
