About the Role
Based in Mashonaland West, reporting to the Head of Province.
Duties:
- Prepare Provincial Commission oral hearings and present case summaries of disputing parties.
- Draft Commission resolutions and determinations; register farm-boundary disputes and complaints and maintain a database.
- Prepare and carry out boundary-dispute investigations; compile and analyse field submissions; act as intermediary between disputing parties under the Land Commission Act.

Requirements
- Honours Degree in Law; specialisation in mediation and conciliation an added advantage; registered with the Law Society or potential to register.
- Sound knowledge of Zimbabwean land law, administrative law and civil procedure; section 297 of the Constitution and the Land Commission Act.
- Strong drafting, mediation, negotiation, research and report-writing skills; integrity and impartiality.
