Procurement Planner
About the Role
Selected Motors is seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented and proactive Logistics & Procurement Planner to manage the end‑to‑end supply chain process. This role will be responsible for forecasting, coordinating, and enhancing procurement and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies, to ensure exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with operational needs.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality goods and services at competitive prices.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand, to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement and logistics with project timelines.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Logistics or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement and logistics planning.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems or procurement software
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Must be a member of Zimbabwe Institute of Procurement & Supply (ZIPS), and or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS).
- Preference for immediately available candidates.
