About the Role

Vacancy Announcement No. 3 of 2026 (Ref. HR/004/26). Grade: C4. Reports to: Provincial Coordinator. Stations: Hwange (Matabeleland North) and Chinhoyi (Mashonaland West). (2 posts.)

Job purpose
To manage the provincial financial, administrative and human resources functions.

Duties and responsibilities
a. Oversee asset verification, recommend purchase of new assets, approve asset movement, coordinate quarterly asset counts, review repair requests for damaged assets and infrastructure, and enforce loss control mechanisms.
b. Develop and review the annual administration work plan and recommend approval.
c. Verify vehicle and fuel registers, supervise vehicle service and maintenance, review consolidated vehicle returns, facilitate investigations into vehicle damage, misuse and abuse, and enforce loss control mechanisms.
d. Recommend leave approvals, facilitate wellness programmes, enforce compliance with regulations, manage provincial employee personal files, monitor attendance registers, and identify training needs.
e. Consolidate the provincial budget, review petty cash returns, manage petty cash usage, recommend cost-effective solutions, facilitate travel authorisation and acquittals, and distribute cash during field missions.
f. Review inventory and fuel registers, coordinate monthly stock takes, supervise inspection of received goods, validate goods registers, monitor stock levels and storage, recommend issuance of goods and supplies, and enforce loss control mechanisms.
g. Review utility bill statements for accuracy, verify rentals ledgers, assess usage of internet and telephones, and review purchase requisitions.
h. Conduct performance appraisals, assign and review tasks, review monthly and quarterly administrative reports, and conduct spot checks on security points.

Requirements

Qualifications
- A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Administration or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good report-writing skills.
- Conflict management skills.
- Possess relevant language proficiency required in a province.
