About the Role
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with institutional goals.
- Identify target audiences and tailor communication approaches.
- Create, edit and disseminate content for internal and external communication channels.
- Manage media relations and maintain relationships with journalists and media houses.
- Coordinate press releases, campaigns and stakeholder communication initiatives.
- Organise press conferences, workshops, seminars and public engagements.
- Monitor media coverage, social-media platforms and public sentiment.
- Evaluate communication effectiveness and prepare reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Mass Communication, Public Relations or equivalent.
- At least three years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications or Media Relations.
- Exceptional writing, editing and public-speaking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Good planning, coordination and event-management skills.
- Ability to monitor, analyse and report on communication impact and media coverage.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and Microsoft Office.
