About the Role
Grade: C3. Reports to: Regional Manager. Station: Mutare. (One of two Regional Officer posts — the other is based in Masvingo.)
Duties and responsibilities
- Initiation of media development activities in the region.
- Facilitate the engagement of media stakeholders.
- Initiate training and capacity building opportunities for media outlets within the region.
- Facilitate the registration of media houses and the accreditation applications.
- Receive complaints.
- Initiate budget processes for the region.

Requirements
Qualifications, experience and attributes
- A degree or HND in Media Studies or any other relevant qualification.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with good computer skills.
- Ability to converse in local languages.
- Should have ability to organize events and exhibitions.
- At least two years' experience in a similar field would be an added advantage.
