About the Role
The Sport Development Officer will be responsible for the design, implementation, management and evaluation of sport-development projects, and the monitoring of sport-development programmes aimed at increasing participation, improving performance and sustainable sport development nationwide, in line with SRC policies and national objectives.
Requirements
Minimum requirements
- Degree in Sport Management, Sport and Recreation, Sports Science or a related sport-development qualification.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in sport development, sports administration, programme management or a related field.
- Sound understanding of sport-development principles and athlete-participation pathways.
Added advantages: knowledge of the SRC Act and Regulations; project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; experience with National Sports Associations, community sport programmes or government institutions.
