About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental inspections and audits.
- Collect, analyse and report Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data aligned with frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
- Monitor environmental performance indicators and recommend resource-efficiency and waste-reduction initiatives.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and deliver training on environmental sustainability, OHS, ESG and corporate sustainability.
- Support planning, implementation and monitoring of environmental and CSR projects.
- Prepare sustainability reports and dashboards and keep abreast of legislation and trends.
Requirements
- ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or GRI training is an added advantage.
- 2–3 years' relevant experience in sustainability/environmental management (food manufacturing or meat processing preferred).
- Knowledge of Zimbabwean environmental legislation and ESG reporting; experience with energy, water, waste and carbon management is an added advantage.
