About the Role
Reports to the Chief Accountant.
Duties:
- Ensure PFMS duties are done correctly; develop and appraise the accounting system; prepare bi-annual and annual statutory reports for Treasury and the Auditor General.
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial analysis; prepare and monitor revenue, fund, recurrent and capital budgets; respond to audit reports.
- Reconcile creditors; ensure virements and payments are done; supervise Accounting Assistants.

Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or HND Accounting, or full CIS/CIMA/ACCA.
- At least 2 years as an Accounting Assistant; proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office and the Public Finance Management Act.
- Clean Class 4 driver's licence an added advantage.
