About the Role
Reporting to the Planning Technician.
Duties
- Conduct building inspections to ensure structures comply with approved plans, model building by-laws and civil-engineering statutes.
- Maintain council premises (brick/block laying); serve enforcement notices on illegal structures and follow up compliance.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments for proposed developments.

Requirements
- National Diploma in Building Construction / Construction / Engineering / Brick & Block laying, or Class 1 builder (a degree an advantage).
- Computer literate with AutoCAD experience; able to read construction drawings and specifications.
- A clean Class 4 driver's licence an advantage; Zimbabwean citizen; clean record.
