About the Role
Key responsibilities
- Formulate and execute corporate strategy, business plans and operational budgets to ensure profitability and long-term viability.
- Ensure full compliance with Reserve Bank regulations, corporate-governance standards and internal risk policies.
- Lead portfolio growth, client acquisition, product diversification and institutional innovation.
- Oversee financial performance, capital management and stakeholder relations.
- Foster a high-performance, values-driven corporate culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree (MBA / M.Sc Finance) or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, IOBZ) required.
- 8–10 years' experience in financial services, at least 5 at senior managerial/executive level in microfinance or retail banking.
- Deep knowledge of credit-risk management, microfinance operations and regulatory frameworks.
