Construction Supervisor

About the Role
Construction Supervisor. Salary: basic salary + commission. Location: as per project demand.
Key duties
- Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, work plans and progress reports.
- Conduct site inspections to enforce compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Manage project documentation (permits, drawings, reports).
- Monitor resource utilisation (labour, equipment, materials) for cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in procurement and verify contractor work before payment approval.
- Identify new business opportunities and prepare bids, quotations and project proposals.
- Maintain client relationships as the primary point of contact.
- Promote compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Requirements
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in construction supervision or project management.
- Experience in business development, tendering or client acquisition is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations and safety standards.
