Creditors Clerk

We are hiring: Creditors Clerk.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Capture supplier invoices and prepare payment documentation and remittance advices.
• Respond to supplier queries and monitor outstanding creditor balances.
• Prepare creditors cash flow forecasts and exchange gain or loss journals.
• Maintain fixed asset records and prepare capital expenditure documentation.
• Prepare monthly asset schedules and support audits and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and comply with company policies and SHEQ requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
• At least 1 year's working experience in a finance department.
• Studying towards a professional qualification as an added advantage.
• Experience in invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably BuildSmart.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality.
