Debtors Clerk (Accounts Receivable)

We are hiring: Debtors Clerk.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements.
• Monitor and allocate customer payments.
• Follow up and escalate overdue accounts.
• Maintain accurate debtor records and reconciliations.
• Prepare debtor age analysis and financial reports.
• Process journals and perform ledger reconciliations.
• Resolve customer account and invoice queries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax, company and SHEQ requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
• At least 1 year's working experience in a finance department.
• Studying towards a professional qualification as an added advantage.
• Receivables, credit control or a similar role.
• Experience in invoicing, payment allocation, reconciliations and debtor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• High integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
