Environmental Health Technician Trainee (EHT): 3-Year Diploma Course, February 2027 Intake

The following vacancies have arisen within the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

Environmental Health Technician Trainee (EHT): 3-Year Diploma Course.

Applications are invited from those who wish to train as Environmental Health Technicians for the 3-year training Diploma programme commencing in February 2027. The course is offered at Polytechnic Colleges around Zimbabwe, and suitably qualified candidates who wish to apply are advised to do so directly to a province of their choice, not later than 6 November 2026.

Qualifications

1. Five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject, at Grade C or better in not more than two sittings.
2. Examination/result slips are not accepted.
3. Must be aged between 17 and 35 years at the time of commencement of training.

How to apply: submit the application to a province of your choice, not later than 6 November 2026. Certified copies of ID, Birth Certificate and academic certificates must be attached to the application.
