About the Role
Gala-Way's client in the logistics industry is seeking a skilled, reliable Freight Forwarding Operator (Harare) to coordinate and manage the movement of goods locally and internationally.
Roles and responsibilities
- Plan and arrange transportation of goods via air, sea and road.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and manage freight bookings.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Track shipments and provide clients with regular updates.
- Collaborate with customs clearing teams to ensure seamless cargo movement.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers and regulatory bodies.

Requirements
Qualifications and experience
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Diploma in Customs Legislation & Procedures and/or Freight Forwarding Practice.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in customs clearance.
