About the Role
A Logistics and Shipping Officer vacancy has arisen within the Croco Holdings group.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis related to customs activities (cost analysis, revenue generation, profitability assessment).
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets for customs operations; identify cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting and procurement to align customs activities with financial objectives.
- Coordinate with customs authorities on financial matters; assist clients to comply with statutory import/export requirements.
- Request relevant manifests/import documents; deliver/collect documents to/from ZIMRA, government departments, banks, insurers, transporters and other partners.
- Prepare and verify bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, import/export declarations, certificates of conformity and delivery orders.
- Ensure shipments comply with local and international trade regulations.
- Facilitate physical examinations with ZIMRA and the release of documents, consignments, trucks and containers.

Requirements
Qualifications & experience
- Degree in Fiscal Studies/Economics/Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/Retail and Logistics, or HND in Customs and Excise Management.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role for degree holders (3 years for HND holders).
- Experience and knowledge of MS Office and ASYCUDA — a must.
- Clean Class 4 driver's licence — a must.
