Group Finance & Investment Manager

About the Role
Reports to: Group Chief Executive Officer.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in financial management, corporate treasury and investment planning across the Group — developing sound financial strategies, safeguarding the Group's financial resources, evaluating investment opportunities and providing high-quality financial advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Group's financial strategy, policies and budgets.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts and capital expenditure plans.
- Provide strategic financial analysis, management reports and recommendations to Executive Management and the Board.
- Ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting in accordance with IFRS.
- Manage the Group's cash flow, treasury operations, banking relationships and working capital.
- Identify, evaluate and manage investment opportunities that maximise value while mitigating risk.
- Oversee investment portfolios through asset allocation, performance monitoring and risk management.
- Develop financial models, profitability analyses and pricing strategies.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, regulators and tax administrators.
- Ensure effective internal financial controls, corporate governance and risk management frameworks.
- Monitor departmental performance through financial KPIs.
- Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to the Finance and Investment team.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Investment Management, Accounting, Economics or another related quantitative discipline.
- A professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) is an added advantage.
- Membership of a recognised professional accounting or finance body is an added advantage.
Experience
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' progressive experience in corporate finance, investment management, corporate treasury or investment banking.
- At least three (3) years' experience in a managerial or leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, investment appraisal, treasury management and financial reporting.
- Proven experience managing institutional stakeholder relationships (banks, investors, regulators).
