The Supply and Logistics Specialist will manage supply chains for a small-sized country office and/or emergency response operation. Responsibilities cover planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, transport and distribution, and monitoring of supplies, services and construction works.

Key Functions

• Management of the supply team.
• Supply chain service delivery and emergency response.
• Collaboration with programmes and implementing partners.
• Technical and advisory support to government and national systems.
• Innovation, products and markets.

• Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply/Purchasing, Economics, Logistics, International Development, Health Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commercial Law, Health, Social Science or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant work experience.
• Skills in problem solving, leadership, humanitarian work, negotiation and people management.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset.
• Emergency or health supply chain experience is an advantage.
