About the Role

Reports to the General Manager Land Audit and Inspection. Designs and implements the Commission's Research and Development programmes.

Duties:
- Develop research agendas aligned to Commission priorities; coordinate studies on land governance, administration and management.
- Produce policy briefs; disseminate research findings; build partnerships with universities and research institutions.
- Develop knowledge-management systems; coordinate innovation initiatives; formulate and implement the R&D budget; supervise the R&D team.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Land Administration, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Statistics, Rural & Urban Planning or related; a Master's in R&D, Development Studies, Public Policy or Economics an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years in R&D, Innovation, Policy Analysis, Land Administration or Statistics.
- Expertise in research design, policy analysis, data analytics (SPSS, STATA, R, Python, Excel), report writing and land administration.
