Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst (1)

About the Role
Reporting to the QA Director, the QA Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst will work closely with staff in the QA department and others across the University to continuously improve the quality of goods and services provided in the academic and support sectors of the University.
Duties:
- Promote evaluation standards, quality assurance/control and capacity development in the University.
- Assist in developing and implementing a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track alignment of the University's performance to its strategic aspirations and regulatory framework.
- Encourage the use of innovative, simple, gender-sensitive and systemic M&E tools to generate valuable data.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders on monitoring and evaluation issues, including risk management and compliance.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend measures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate knowledge building and sharing in the area of monitoring and evaluation.
- Participate in quality assurance research and build databases for decision-making.
- Compile periodic departmental monitoring and evaluation reports.
- Follow up on the implementation of evaluation recommendations and ensure timely management responses.

Requirements
- A foundation Bachelor's degree in Business or Educational Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, Library and Information Sciences or related fields.
- A Master's degree in the above fields.
- At least three (3) years of relevant post-Master's experience.
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation and/or data and information analysis and/or management advisory services.
- Experience of working in a Higher and Tertiary institution is an added advantage.
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving and innovative competencies; excellent communication and presentation abilities; proficiency in technology; ability to generate knowledge through research; attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
